The safety of children is our top priority. At Global Girl, we manufacture and design products that meet the highest of standards in the US and around the World.
All of our products have been tested at an Independent laboratory accredited by the United States Consumer Products Safety Commission, to certify compliance with all appropriate safety requirements. All of our products meet or exceed Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) requirements by US Federal Standards in accordance with applicable requirements of ASTM F963 “Toy Safety Standards”.
Our dolls are tested for Small Parts under 16 CFR 1501 and checked for Sharp Points and Edges under 16 CFR 1500.48./49. Additionally, Global Girl Dolls also conform to the limitations of Flammability under 16 CFR 1500.44 and 16 CFR 1610 where applicable. We also subject our dolls to use and abuse testing under 16 CFR 1500.50-53
Under 16 CFR 1303 our dolls are manufactured and tested to meet or exceed the Banned Hazardous Substance requirements for Lead as well as Heavy Metal Limitations for lead, antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, mercury and selenium under ASTM F963. In addition our dolls also meet or exceed the lead requirements in surface coatings under CPSIA section 101(f), Lead in accessible substrate requirements for materials under CPSIA section 1019(a)(2) and Phthalates under CPSIA section 108.
Our packaging for Play Dolls also includes required warnings under 16 CFR 1500.19. Our products are intended for use of children 3+.
All of our products also meet and exceed European Union Safety Standards.
